Cost to Buy vs. Own

Hybrid Homes will cost more than a standard home. However, with no utility bill, the cost to own a Hybrid Home will pale in comparison. Typical average savings in a Colorado climate for a home this size is on the order of $150 per month. Additionally, there is extra power for a plug-in Hybrid or payback from your utility company. Given these trade-offs, a slightlyhigher mortgage is readily affordable.
